Addie N. Lynch

February 28, 1932 – July 12, 2025

Addie N. Lynch, 93, Altoona, died Saturday at the Celebration Villa. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles F. and Effie (Jones) Resides. She married Frederick R. Lynch March 23, 1952 and he preceded her on July 19, 2022.

Addie was a graduate of Altoona High School. She is survived by her daughter Nadine Vogel (Bob) of Manassas, VA; 2 grandchildren Brittany Henry (Matt) of Manassas, VA and Brady Vogel of Dallas, TX; a great granddaughter Hailey Henry and 2 sisters: Effie Whitfield and Kathleen Koller both of Altoona. She was preceded in death by her son, Frederick D. “Freddie” Lynch and a sister, Sally Schlect.

Addie loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed working on puzzles, going to Altoona Curve games, traveling and bus trips, bingo and going out to eat with Fred at their favorites.

Friends will be received from 10 am to noon on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc. 1421 8th Ave. Altoona, PA 16602. A funeral service for Addie will immediately follow at noon in the Memorial Chapel of the Stevens Mortuary officiated by Pastor Brian Sandell. Committal will be held at Alto Reste Park.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Celebration Villa of Altoona, 170 Red Fox Drive, Duncansville, PA 16635 in Addie’s memory.
