Alphonse was my sister in law's dad, but he and Maria are family to me. Pappy was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. My favorite memory is of him being out in his back yard and telling us about his beautiful garden. A hard working man who loved his family and was a friend to many in his in his hometown of Altoona, I know his loss is felt deeply. My sincere condolences to all who have been touched by the sadness of his passing. Rest in peace, Pappy.

I have so many wonderful memories with pappy like spending the day at Delgrosso's Amusement Park, picking (and eating) tomatoes and raspberries from the garden, playing card games for hours on end, and always having good conversations with him on the back porch. Pappy meant the world to my family and I. He will truly be missed

He will be sadly missed by the Saylor family. He was a harder worker and did many of our ceilings in our houses. A very kind and gentle man. I can always remember seeing him and Mary Ann at church near the confessionals at St.Mary's church. Our deepest sympathy to the families
