Amelia E. Provenzano Aug. 21, 1928-Jan. 21, 2021

Amelia E. Provenzano, 92, Altoona, passed away Thursday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Marietta C. (Copertino) Alamprese. Amelia was married to Michael Provenzano, who preceded her in death on June 2, 1987. Amelia is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Anderson, and grandson, Joseph Burda, both of New Cumberland, Pa. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Dr. Donato J. Alamprese, Michael A. Alamprese, Louis F. Alamprese and sisters V. Rose Alamprese and Edith J. Alamprese. Amelia was a graduate of Altoona Catholic High School class of 1946. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, her pets, collecting plates and figurines, but especially loved spending time with her family.
