Ann L. Schmidhamer

April 10, 1940 – January 13, 2024

Ann L. Schmidhamer, 83, Altoona, passed away, Saturday at UPMC Altoona.

Ann was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Frank S. and Dorothy (Calvert) Clark.

She is survived by her children: Mary Beth Schmidhamer of Altoona, Karl (Bonnie) Schmidhamer of Camp Hill, Mary Lou Schmidhamer and Kurt Schmidhamer both of Altoona; five grandchildren: Allys, Kort, Nicole, Karly, and Haleigh; and a great-grandchild, Karson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Clark II and nephew, Frank Clark III.

Ann was a 1958 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School and retired from Bon Secours Holy Family Hospital as an X-ray technician cross-trained in ultrasound.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2024 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc. 1421 Eighth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602 where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. by Fr. Brian Norris. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
