Babbie E. Jeffries, 64, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her residence.
Babbie was the daughter of the late Rebecca Lafferty.
She is survived by her daughter, Desiree Jeffries of Altoona; a brother, Willie Lafferty; and two grandchildren: Darien and Evan Jeffries.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public funeral services.
Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc.

I am so sorry for your loss. Babbie and I went to school together. She had a pet skunk when we were in elementary school and brought it to school one day. She always seemed to live life on her own terms. I hope you find comfort in celebrating the life she led and the love she shared.
