Obituary For Barbara A. Dunn

Barbara A. Dunn April 30, 1948-Sept. 7, 2021

Barbara A. Dunn, 73, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. She was born in Altoona the daughter of the late Mary C. Fanella. Barbara married Boyd Dunn, Sr. on July 3, 1964 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Barbara is survived by her husband; four children: Gary Dunn of Raleigh, NC, Camie (Steve) Bickel, Ryan (Evelyn) Dunn and Boyd (Jennifer) Dunn, Jr. all of Altoona; eleven grandchildren: Nicole and Marcus Dunn, Rowan, Steven, Christian and Colby Bickel, Addison and Delaney Dunn, Carmen, Ireland and Brayden Dunn; three great-grandchildren: Declan, Dawson and Harper. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Lynn Dunn. She was a 1966 graduate of Altoona High School. Barbara retired after a long history of retail sales where she finished her career at Macy’s Department Store. Barbara was a member at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, she enjoyed crocheting and crafts, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 806 11th St., Altoona, Pa. 16602, by the Franciscan Fathers. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are provided by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602.
