Barry J. Cossitor

Barry J. Cossitor, 69, Altoona, unexpectedly passed away at his residence, Wednesday.

He was born in Altoona, the son of Gloria (Hofer) Sellers and the late Donald Cossitor.

Barry is survived by his mother; three brothers: Brian Cossitor (Sandy) of Butler, Bryce Cossitor (Sue) of Altoona, and Tracy Sellers of Salisbury, MD; a sister, Kelly Sellers-Smith of Hudson, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Fay Sellers.

Barry was a 1972 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was a certified teacher of Cosmetology, the owner of Barry’s Golden Comb and had been practicing for over 50 years.

Friends will be received from 10-11 am on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602, where a funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 am in the Stevens Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Godissart.
