Bernard J. Riley July 8, 1946-September 7, 2022
Bernard J. Riley, 76, Roaring Spring, passed away Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Bernard P. and Connie (Binder) Riley. Bernard married Kathryn M. Steinbrunner. Bernie is survived by his wife; two daughters: Nicole (Mark) Earhart of Hollidaysburg and Brandy Gregg of Roaring Spring; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Deanna Duet of Atlanta, Georgia. Bernie was the favorite uncle of his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Riley; son-in-law, Matt Gregg and a brother, Steve Riley. Bernie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and especially spending time with his family and friends. Friends will be received from 9-11 am, Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Clark St., Hollidaysburg, Pa. 16648. A funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Alan Thomas, celebrant. Committal will be held at New St. Mary’s Cemetery.
