Caryn B. Fox

August 18, 1977-June 1, 2026

Caryn B. Fox, 48, of Alexandria, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Huntingdon, the daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (Bairstow) Fox.

Caryn married Evan Patterson on March 14, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband; a daughter, Lydia McCall (Timothy) of Altoona and three sons: Jacob Boonie, Lucas and Matthew Dick, all of Alexandria; her siblings: Pearl Benson, Robert Fox, Jr., James Fox, Kenneth Fox, Fred Fox, William Fox, Melissa Kroll and Jeremy Kroll; and two grandchildren: Julian and Iris McCall; also many dear friends.

Caryn was a graduate of Juniata Valley High School.

She was a bartender at many local establishments.

In her free time, Caryn enjoyed puzzle games, watching crime and mystery shows, writing, and going to Halloween events. She really liked a good DIY project, picking up stray animals and cooking for her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date.
