Chris was a wonderful person and always had a smile and a kind word. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I only ever had the joy of spending time with Chris a handful of times since the Crilly family came into my life, but he left such a mark on me. When I heard Uncle Chris was going to be somewhere, I always anxiously awaited getting to the party. His tell-it-like-it-is humor never left me without stitches in my side and a smile on my face. You never felt like you had to be anyone but exactly who you are around him, as long as you let him be exactly who he was, too. Uncle Chris always made me feel like family, and he had no obligation to do so. I am so grateful for the time I could spend with him.

Chris had an infectiously hilarious personality. As a boy, I'm not sure I ever quite predicted whether I'd insight a low grumble of disapproval or an explosive burst of glee... but my god did that glee provide me with a sense of accomplishment like no other when it so often came. Chris was and will always be remembered as an uncle I saw and will always remember as a huge inspiration. He was a man beyond life's responsibilities who understood what it meant to live a life of love and joy. All condolences to those who know this man as I did or even better. I wish I could be there to celebrate such a light of the world. He will shine on in each of us. I love you all as he did.
