Daniel C. Beelman Oct. 16, 1969-Jan. 14, 2021

Daniel C. Beelman, 51, Altoona, formerly of New Bloomfield, passed away, Thursday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness. He was born in Harrisburg, Pa, the son of the late Samuel C. and Dorothy L. (Harris) Beelman. Daniel is survived by a brother, Samuel C. Beelman, III and a sister, Teresa Harper; his nieces: Ashley Foose, Autumn Dugan and Summer Socie; two special friends that were integral in getting Dan to and from his appointments, Kelly and Ed-your kindness is appreciated. He made acquaintances from all over, but especially his work family, Carlisle DC, Dan is survived by those that were lucky enough to call him a friend. He was a graduate of West Perry Senior High. Dan was employed with DM Management Distribution, where the last two years were spent with the receiving team as an operator and receiving clerk. He had an impeccable work ethic and was dedicated to the company where he was held in the highest regards by his fellow employees. Dan enjoyed Nascar, flower gardening, and he frequented Sherman’s Creek Inn, where a celebration of life will be held, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 from 10 a.m.– 2 p.m., at Sherman’s Creek Inn, Shermans Dale, Pa.
