Darlene P. Cross June 1, 1957-Oct. 23, 2022

Darlene P. Cross, 65, Altoona, passed away Sunday at Hillview Chateau-Guardian Healthcare after a extended illness. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of Paul Hatch and the late Ann (Ullery) Hatch. Darlene married Jeffrey L. Cross on August 21, 1976 in Altoona, he preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2007. Darlene is survived by her father, Paul and two daughters: Jennifer Petruccioli (Ron) and Jessica Leonard both of Altoona; seven grandchildren: Madelyn, Alyson, Jeffrey, Tyler, Peyton, Bentley and Mason; her five siblings: Wayne Hatch (Dawn) of Kentucky, Susan Yingling (Scott) of Michigan, Paul Hatch, Warren Hatch (Leslie) and Elizabeth Keller all of Altoona. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Christopher and her sister-in-law, Penny. Darlene was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and was the executive housekeeper for over 20 years for the Comfort Inn. She enjoyed camping, football, spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. At Darlene’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
