Obituary For Darren T. Duffel

Darren T. Duffel

February 14, 1960-March 18, 2025

Darren T. Duffel, 65, Altoona, passed away on Tuesday. He was born in West Point, New York, the son of Delores (Watson) Duffel and the late Willard J. Duffel.

Darren is survived by his Mom and two brothers, Clay and Cort Duffel, all of Altoona; his aunt Brenda Hooks of Kansas City, KS and many cousins.

He was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School and he served in the US Navy.

Darren recently retired from the housekeeping department for the Ebensburg State Center after 30 years of service.

He was an avid sports fan.

Friends will be received from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602, with a funeral service immediately following at 7 pm in the Stevens Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Fred E. Hickok. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
