David M. Burkett Jan. 1, 1960-March 10, 2021

David M. Burkett, 61, of Altoona, formerly of Erie, passed away at his home, Wednesday after a brief illness. He was born in Warsaw, Indiana, the son of the late Beth Ann Cronauer and David Eugene Burkett. David is survived by his father; a son, Matthew Burkett; a daughter, Courtney Wilt; one grandchild; brothers: Michael Shingler and Mark Cronauer both of Erie; an aunt, Mildred Gray; cousins: Tina Keelber, Donna Cronauer, Michelle Cronauer, Randy Keelber, Mark Walls, Jr. and Michael Walls. He attended Erie High School. David really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. At the request of the deceased there will be no funeral services. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
