Denise and I met through our love for our Irish Setters, and she shared her life with some beautiful ones, 2 ( Rudy and Ronan) of which I was able to meet when I met Denise and Roc at an Irish Setter National. She loved to wood carve and surprised me with a carving of one of my beloved setters , Gunnar, and also a walking stick with a setter carved on it. She was extremely talented and had a very giving spirit. She shared stories of adventures with her horses , as we also both loved and had horses , and some of her days spent on her sailboat. I was glad to be able to meet her and to share many Conversations about what we had in common . I can just picture her treasured red dogs and her Arabian Stallion all meeting her and all together again. My heart goes out to Roc and Micah .

I have many many memories of Denise but evenings on the porch at the house in Florida and Allegheny Mountain Kennel Club picnics their backyard in Sinking Valley are favorites. Covid and poor health kept us apart recently but she was , and is, close to me in my heart. Love you Dennie💔
