Obituary For Diane L. Huber

Diane L. Huber Jan. 13, 1953-Oct. 11, 2022

Diane L. Huber, 69, Altoona, unexpectedly passed away, Tuesday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late William and Patricia (Beck) Wyandt. Diane is survived by her children: Richard A. Huber, Jr. and wife Pam, Michael P. Huber and wife Melissa and Kristina E. Stoltz and fiancé Dominic, all of Altoona; six grandchildren: Tyler, Conner and Aubrey Huber, Kaylin and Kristlyn Stoltz and Riley Ross. Also surviving are her siblings: Bill Wyandt of NC, Greg Wyandt of Hollidaysburg; Tony Wyandt and Cheryl Deihl, both of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael “Mick” Wyandt. Diane was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Area High School and later received her associate degree in business from Mount Aloysius. She retired as the manager of the Optical Department at Boscov’s Department Store, Altoona, after a 25-year career in the vision field. Diane enjoyed her pet cats, had a flair for decorating, liked going on trips to Ocean City, MD, and she especially loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received from noon-2 pm on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the Stevens Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jon Neely. Committal will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
