Out of seven of us children, Doreen was the oldest child . The oldest girl, I the youngest girl. All my brothers and Sisters are all passed now but me! Why, I could not tell you as I have been close to death several times, I guess God is not through with me yet. I remember helping out with dinners , and dances with Doreen at Mill Run. firehall! We were members of ladies auxiliary. I remember taking small trips with our Mother over to Phillipsburg to visit relatives, and to put flowers on the graves over there. Spent some time up the mountain at their camp sight, loved swinging on their porch swing. She was the oldest, so she tried to keep us straight, which I am sure was not easy. We all took care of Dad after our Mother pased, that's the way our family was, if one of us needed help, the rest were there . She loved sports, outdoors, her plants, she kept busy and had a lot of friends she did things with! Although, there was a big age difference between us, and her daughter just a year younger than me,(which we grew up more like sisters than Aunt and Niece.) She was the big sister who thought she had to take. care of all of us, be in charge, and she tried to do just that, at least she tried. I will miss her, I loved her dearly. She now is with my Mom and Dad and their children. ( my brothers and sisters, ) but I still am here. Only God knows when I will join them ! May She Rest In Peace with the rest of my family amongst the Angels till I see them all again in Heaven!
