Edith was loved by all of us during her stay at Highland Hall. She was such a sweet soul and will be remembered fondly.

Edie was the choir and bell choir director when I attended Second Ave. Church. Both of my parents, my uncle and daughter all enjoyed playing the bells; and I have many happy memories from that time. Edie was not only beautiful on the inside; but the inside as well. I always thought she and her husband were such a handsome couple. Very kind and dignified. She will be missed. Sincerely, Sherry (Ingham) Buck

Aunt Edie always made my family feel welcome in her home. Some of my fondest memories are of family gatherings at her house in Altoona. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and she always made everyone feel at home. In later years we stayed in touch via notes and letters and the occasional phone call. We will miss her dearly. Our hearts go out to Debbie, Sandy, Mary Ella and their families. All our love, Joel and Linda Smith and Family
