Edward F. (Ted) 94, Altoona, died Friday at his home with family at his side. Ted was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert Adams and Bertha (Schenck) on January 14, 1926. Ted married Marcella J Wolf on July 4, 1946 He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella and survived by his 13 children: Dennis (Joan) Adams of Raleigh, N.C., David (partner Colleen Sager) of Altoona, Anita (Gary) Trenger of Centre Hall, Colette (John) Tillery of Bloomington, Ill., Loraine (Mike) Mitchell of Altoona, Marita Shore of Altoona, Alane Timmerman(partner Robert S Donaldson) of Altoona, Jerome (Sue) Adams of Altoona, Noreen (Ken) LaBorde of Olanta, Colleen (Mike) Wilson of Downs, Ill., Kevin (Theresa) Adams of Altoona, Tom (Joanne) Adams of Horsham and Maureen (partner Dave Christie) Doran of Altoona; 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters; Katherine Lauer of Hollidaysburg, Lois Steinbugl (Jack)of Altoona and Joanne Schlecht of Akron, N.Y , sister-in law, Barbara Adams, Hollidaysburg and sister-in-law, Dorothy Adams, Altoona; Grandchildren: Matthew Adams, Jeffrey Adams, Alicia Johnson, Kristen Douthit, Jennifer (Daniel) Chapman, Joseph (Suzanne) Adams, Scott (Stephanie) Mitchell, Thad Mitchell, Douglas Shore, Adam (Anita) Shore, Krystal (David) Benitez, Laura Timmerman, Brian Timmerman, Ethan Adams, Abby LaBorde, Megan Wilson, Cassie Wilson, Ben Adams, Luke Adams, Elizabeth Adams, Rebekah Adams, Joshua Dionis, Julie Dionis and Jordan Adams; Step grandchildren: Annie Rebenzski, Ben Tillery ,AJ, Mita, Breanna, Brianna and Grayson. Great grandchildren: Heidi and Cameron Adams, Anessa and Nicholas Johnson, Victoria and Valerie Douthit, Anastasia Chapman, Owen and Gwen Adams, Peyton, Mackenzie and Jaxson Mitchell, Donovan Shore, Carter and Ella Dionis; Step greatgrandchildren: Koen and Finley Rebenzski, and Cassandra Shore.

He was preceded in death by, Parents, son Francis Paul Adams, son-in-law Frank Shore, brothers-in-law: Richard Lauer and Edward Schlecht, and Patrick Kelly, and sisters-in-law Frances Adams, Jean Adams, Marie Adams. Brothers: Robert, Paul, Clarence, James, John, and sisters Mary Elizabeth and Marjorie Kelly.

Ted graduated from Altoona High School and served in the Navy during WWII. He worked at Sears Roebuck with over 42 years of service. He was one of the founders of the ARC Federal Credit Union and served on the Advisory Committee for many years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church where he was active in the Holy Name Society.

The family has planned a private viewing. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
