Elaine K. Neely April 15, 1954 – February 24, 2023

Elaine K. Neely, 68, Altoona, passed away Friday at her residence. She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Harrold R. and Nellie F. (Bruner) Kuhns. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Shannon K. Vipond (Shawn); two grandchildren: Dustin (Sami) and Cody (Keri); four great-grandchildren: Shawn, Louise, Oliver and Emma; stepsons: Mike and Scot Gensamer; her sister, Beverly Dinges (David); two nieces: Lara Penn (Brian) and Tammi Dinges (Matt). She was preceded in death by her partner, Danny Gensamer and a sister, Nellie “Bubbles” Mooney. Elaine attended Altoona Area High School and retired as a nurse’s aide at Valley View Nursing Home. She enjoyed watching television but most especially enjoyed spending time with her family. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public funeral services.
