Faye Vickery Sept. 25, 1931 – Feb. 3, 2023

Faye Vickery, 91, a resident of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Altoona, passed away peacefully Feb. 3, 2023, surrounded by her family at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Lewistown, daughter of the late James R. and Gladys (Wilson) Reese. Faye married Karl W. Vickery on Sept. 13, 1952. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1992. Surviving are her two daughters, Carla Faye Frisch (Robert) of Joppa, Md., and Linda Sue McConahy (Lynn) of Zion Crossroads, Va.; four grandchildren: Timothy and David Frisch, Kathryn Bryant and Jacob McConahy; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce W. Vickery. Faye enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing bridge. All funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona. Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
