Francis L. Donnelly

July 26, 1934-August 20, 2023

Francis L. Donnelly, 89, Altoona, peacefully passed away at his residence on Sunday.

He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Harold A. and Marion F. (Sandrus) Donnelly. Francis married Alice M. O’Toole on July 14, 1956 and she preceded him in death on October 7, 2018.

Francis is survived by his son, Stephen F. Donnelly of Bedford and daughter, Megan E. Donnelly of Altoona; two grandchildren: Lauren Fulton (Dan) and Lindsey McLaughlin; four great-grandchildren: Brooke, Lexi and Connor Fulton and Bo Lingenfelter; also surviving is his brother, Gerald W. Donnelly.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles, William and David Donnelly.

Francis was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he retired from Brumbaugh Body Company as a car painter after over 50 years of service.

He was an avid bowler and at one time was named bowler of the year.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral services.
