Frank B. “Sammy” Prebola April 1, 1927-Oct. 6, 2021

Frank B. “Sammy” Prebola, 94, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Mountain Top, Pa. passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Plains, Pa, the son of the late Jonn and Ann (Shedlock) Prebola. Frank married Mary Petrin on June 19, 1954. Sammy is survived by his loving wife of 67 years; a son, Robert F. Prebola of Duncansville; daughter, Jacqueline Homolash of Mountain Top; three grandchildren: Jarrod and wife Aimee Prebola, Ryan Prebola and Heather Homolash; and a sister, Mary Levisky. He was a graduate of Plains High School and was an Army Veteran of WWII. Sammy retired as an Industrial X-ray Technician. He was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. Sammy enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 420 South Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, Pa. 18707.
