Fred Dively February 7, 1969 – August 11, 2021

Fred Dively, 52, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona, after a brief illness. Fred was born in Altoona, son of Mary (Noakes) Earnest and the late Elwood Dively. Fred is survived by his mother; two sisters: Barbara Bordell (Rob Schleich) and Sue McCahren (Albert) all of Altoona; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Bridget Rezac. He was preceded in death by stepfather, Kenneth Earnest. Fred was a 1988 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was employed by Carpenters Union Local #423 for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, riding motorcycles and spending time with his dog, Blue and bird, Mocha. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 Eighth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Stevens Memorial Chapel by Pastor William Ice. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
