Harry M. Christofic Aug. 26, 1935-March 23, 2022

Harry M. Christofic, 86, Altoona, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Michael and Mildred (Dixon) Christofic. Harry married Evedin Beers on October 4, 2004. Harry is survived by his loving wife; his sister, Mary Stephens of Tyrone and a nephew, Kenny Stephens. Harry farmed the family homestead for most of his life. Upon his retirement from farming he was employed in vocational training at Skills of Central PA. Harry enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with family and friends. He especially liked conversing about trucks and tractors and reminiscing about his life on the farm. Friends will be received from 12-1 pm on Friday, April 1, 2022 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 pm in the Stevens Memorial Chapel with Pastor Randy Eckman.
