James was the second generation of three to share the same date of birth as his father, John and his son, Christopher. It will be a joyous reunion and celebration, as they are all together with our heavenly Father. Jim married Karen M. Querry on Oct. 16, 1976 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altoona. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher John Glasson in 2009. Jim was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. He served for 9 years as a Police Officer and retired with over 25 years as a Firefighter, all for our city of Altoona. Jamey had also worked as a Security Guard, with 22 years of service at Mercy Hospital and Altoona Regional Health System. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Jim was an avid coin collector and enjoyed spending time with his family.
