James M. Proctor Feb. 6, 1997-Dec. 16, 2022

James “Jimmy” M. Proctor, of Altoona passed away on Friday, December 16th, 2022 at the age of 25. Born February 6th, 1997, he was the youngest child of Timothy Proctor and Rebecca Duncan Proctor. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Francis “Joe” and Eva Duncan.

Jimmy always had a way to make everyone around him laugh with his silly voices and faces. He was a lover of animals and the outdoors. He could often be found fishing along the Juniata River or at Glendale Lake. He will always be remembered as the “fun uncle” to his nephew, and to many of his friends' children.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Rebecca Duncan Proctor; father, Timothy Proctor (Karen Gurekovich); sisters, Alyssa Proctor (Cody Caracciolo), Rachel Proctor (Jonathan Shaffer), and Courtney Proctor; beloved nephew and niece, Triton and Mavis Caracciolo; paternal grandfather, Frank Proctor (Carolyn Johnson); and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Interment will be private. The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.
