James Lee Snyder July 10, 1951 – July 14, 2021

James Snyder passed away peacefully in his sleep at home at the age of 70.

James was born in Altoona to Fred and Caroline (Flick) Snyder. He married Tammy Mathieu on September 2, 1983. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, and listening to music. He was very passionate about wrestling and his dogs.

James was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred A. (Buddy) Snyder, Jr.; sister Carol Long; and son Travis (Peewee) Snyder; and granddaughter, Kaitlynn. He is survived by his wife of 38 years; 6 children: Renee (Melanie) McCulley, James A. (Heather) Snyder, Joni Snyder (Jeff Miller), Ryan (Shandi) Snyder, Jessica Snyder, and Christy Snyder. He leaves behind his sister Nancy Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.

His grandchildren and great grandchildren were very near and dear to his heart. Twins, Makayla and Jaelynn, Ian, Hannah, Zoey, Piper, Isaiah, Brody, Bella, Cayden, Emily Mikayla, Shanna, Kai, Kannan, Khaila, Kimiyah, Clifton, and Logan. Great grandchildren Jaxson and Makenzie. Also, his honorary children, that he considered his own, Beth and Sheena.

We will be celebrating James's life on Friday October 8th from 4pm-8pm at Grace Fellowship Leamersville at 14 Brethren Lane, Duncansville, Pa, 16635.
