Sharon and I enjoyed working with Jim at both Chief Logan and Indian Valley High Schools; so much so, we considered him not only our "boss," but a personal friend as well. His passing is a loss to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

To the family of Mr Oswalt my deepest sympathies. This man was a big figure in my life in high school he was my assistant principal at Chief Logan we didn't call him sir we didn't call him things like that we call him boss man. He was always soft spoken to the point and actually listen to what you had to say. I really really like the boss man. He was a good man and a big influence in my life. Rest in peace boss Jim Young

I always had such great respect for Mr. Oswalt! He was a wonderful vice principal and a great community leader. I never realized his exemplary military service prior to his work with students in the school districts. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless you all.
