Janet P. DuncanOctober 23, 1925 – February 26, 2022Janet P. Duncan, 96, Altoona, passed away Saturday while residing at Garvey Manor.Janet was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Samuel and Madeline (Zeak) Amigh.Surviving are her daughter, Regina Finelli and husband Frank of Altoona; Grandchildren: Anthony Finelli, Amigh Finelli-Taylor, Andrew and Becky Johnson, Brian and Brandy Johnson and Christine Johnson; a brother, Robert Amigh; special nephew, Michael Halloran, who was like a son to her; and neighbors, Joe and Kathy Koehle, who were always there to help her.Janet was preceded in death by her 3 children: Ann Johnson, Patrick Duncan and Timothy Duncan; a grandson, Frankie Finelli; and 5 sisters.Janet retired from the PA Department of Assistance.At Janet’s request, there will be no visitation.A memorial Mass will be celebrated in Janet’s memory at a later date.Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc.Condolences may be made at www.stevensfamilyfuneralhomes.com or Stevens Family Funeral Homes Facebook.
