Janine L. Seymore Beck, 65, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her residence.

Janine was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Genevieve (Evans) Seymore. On October 20, 1990, she married Richard Beck who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Stephen A. Seymore (Karen) of Altoona; a granddaughter, Tyler Stoehr; two sisters: Michelle Lehman (Chuck) of Claysburg and Paula Pelusi (Joe) of Canton, GA; two brothers-in-law: Roger Beck (Kim) of NC and Ronald Beck (Elizabeth) of Tyrone and a sister-in-law, Janice Geist (Greg) of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Vincent Seymore; a sister, Deborah Gority and mother-in-law, Florean Beck.

Janine was a 1972 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School.

She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.

She enjoyed singing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Friday, June 19, 2020 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 Eighth Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602 where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Fr. Brian Saylor officiating. Committal will be a Calvary Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 in Janine’s memory.
