Jessica Lynn Ramsey

January 11, 1983-November 25, 2023

Jessica Lynn Ramsey, 40, Altoona, unexpectedly passed away at her residence on Saturday.

She was born in Altoona on Jan. 11, 1983, the daughter of Greg Ramsey, Sr. and Debbie Shaw-Robinson.

She is survived by her mother, Debbie Shaw-Robinson (Lee); brother, Greg Ramsey, Jr. (Manny); sister, Michelle Ramsey (Travis); daughter, Joclynn Ramsey; son, Xavier Weyandt; grandfather, Dwight Shaw, Sr.; father, Greg Ramsey, Sr. (Julie); siblings: Brianne, Matthew and Abby. Several nieces and nephews and a long list of cousins also survive her.

Jessica was preceded in death by, grandparents: Joan and Robert Rudolph and Naomi Ramsey.

Since adolescence, she struggled with a hard fight with diabetes and was a colon cancer survivor. Her mind, body and soul succumbed to a lifelong inner battle.

She will be remembered for her stubbornness and witty personality, the love she had for her fur baby, Dee-Dee, who she missed dearly, but especially her love of family and her children. Jessica was an avid concert goer and had an insatiable love of suns and moons.

Jessica will be resting in eternal peace with her God, that she recently accepted back into her heart and soul. Her favorite prayer, passed down through generations, starting with her grandma, Joan, whom she loved dearly, was “Prayer for Serenity.”

At the request of Jessica, the family is honoring her wish, of no viewing to be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She is loved to the moon and back and we are going to miss her so much.
