JoAlana “Jody” Kuhn

November 30, 1945-April 19, 2026

JoAlana “Jody” Kuhn, 80, of Bellefonte, formerly of Altoona, passed away Sunday morning at Centre Care Rehabilitation, State College. She was born in Huntingdon, the daughter of the late Allen L. and Edith I. (Karle) Beaver.

Jody married William L. Kuhn on October 3, 1964.

She is survived by her loving husband; her son, David A. Kuhn (Michelle) of Bellefonte and her daughter, Billie Jo Kuhn (Danette Petersen) of Oshawa-Ontario, Canada; six grandchildren: Adam, Aubrey, Garrett, Gavin, Taylor and Cameron; and two great-grandchildren: Elora and Elaina.

Jody was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Beaver and sister, Peggy Bishop.

She was a 1963 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

Jody retired from retail sales with Eckerd Drug Store and Gardner’s Candy.

She was a member of Second Avenue Global Methodist Church.

Jody enjoyed reading, watching soap operas and Penn State sports, going on cruises and especially watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Friends will be received from noon-2 pm on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the Stevens Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brian Sandell.

Interment will be held at Blair Memorial Park.
