John Erik Bomeisl
December 30, 1977-June 12, 2024
John Erik Bomeisl, 46, Albemarle, NC, formerly of Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning in North Carolina.
He is survived by his father, John J. Bomeisl and stepmom, Kathie; mother, Catherine Hoover; a daughter, Kayleen Bomeisl of NJ; two sisters: Erin Bomeisl of Altoona and Lara Bomeisl of Cresson; a stepbrother, Don Mast (Angelina) of Altoona; his grandmother, Mary Ellen Bomeisl; uncles: Mark Bomeisl (Mary), Dennis Hoover (Jody) and Jerry Hoover (Sally); and aunts: Joanne Wood (Kelly), Christine Paul, Bonnie Crooks and Sandy Stottler (Tom).
John was a graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and he was of the Catholic faith.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family asks that contributions be made in John’s memory to: St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund, 1405 5th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
Arrangements are provided by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
