Judith E. Rains

February 18, 1947-June 13, 2025

Judith E. Rains, 78, of Altoona, passed away at Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Friday morning. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama.

She is survived by her two sons: Eric Action Rains and Christopher Skye Rains (Tracy); her daughter, Marcy Rains; daughter-in-law, Sherri Rains; two grandchildren: Jacob and Chelsea Mathieu; a sister, Royce Kennedy and Bart Rains.

Judy was preceded in death by her son, Barry Rains.

She retired from Goodwill and previously was the manager of Walden Books.

Judy enjoyed reading.

At the request of the family there will be no visitation or services.
