Karen M. Glasson Dec. 3, 1954-Dec. 18, 2022
Karen M. Glasson, 68, Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Donald and Geraldine (Brenner) Querry. Karen married James C. Glasson on Oct. 16, 1976, he preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2022. Karen is survived by her daughter, Nicole Glasson and brother, Greg Querry, both of Altoona. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher John Glasson in 2009. Karen was a graduate of Altoona High School and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She retired from Toys ‘R Us and had previously worked at Altoona Welding Supply with 25 years of service. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything. Friends will be received from 4-6 pm on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Karen’s memory to: Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, Pa. 16602 or online: www.centralpahumane.org.
