Leah J. Miller July 31, 1932-Nov. 14, 2020

Leah J. Miller, 88, of Altoona passed away Saturday, at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona the daughter of the late Calvin and Alberta (Box) Bell. Leah is survived by a son, Thomas (Amy) Miller of Altoona; daughters: Pamela Frye of Hollidaysburg, Patricia (Randy) Dutrow of Bellwood and Teresa (Andy) Cajka of Williamsport; a sister, Yvonne Buckreis of Maryland; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Bell and a sister, Veronica Houldsworth. Leah was a 1950 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. She worked for the State of Pennsylvania as a Secretary. Leah was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards and swimming. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and safety for all, a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
