Libby Ann Drass, 59, Altoona, passed away Friday at her residence following an extended illness of glioblastoma.

She was born in Bellefonte, the daughter of the late, Russell and Rosetta (Patterson) Long. Libby married Richard T. Drass, Jr. on Aug. 26, 1988, he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1997.

Mom, I love you so much and miss you so much as well. Gosh it's so hard to believe I'll never get to kiss or hug or see your smiling face. I'll miss the laughs we had, the ups and downs we got through. But most of all, you are one of a kind and the best mother!! My heart aches for you every day. Thank you for everything you have done for us. Sending kisses and hugs to heaven to you and dad! Please keep a watch over us and help guide us in the right direction in life.
