Obituary For Linda C. Ciocca

Linda C. Ciocca July 2, 1945-January 18, 2026

Linda C. Ciocca, 80, of Altoona, peacefully passed away Sunday at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Filbert J. and Pauline (Patronik) Mangiacarne.

Linda married Fred Ciocca in 1982 in Winchester, Virginia.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Fred; her son, Anthony Rapsky (Suzanne McElvenney) of Altoona; a very special cousin, Karmel DeStefano; three nephews: Mark, David and Eric King; a great-niece, Jessica and great-nephew, Bryan.

Linda was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School and attended the Altoona Campus of Pennsylvania State University.

She retired as an administrative assistant with AMTRAN and also had a successful private payroll practice.

Linda was a member of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.

She loved cooking, baking, spending time in the outdoors and was an avid animal lover. Linda enjoyed Biography and Women in History.

Friends will be received from 4-7 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 am, Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 411 Wopsononock Ave., Altoona, PA 16601 with Fr. Brian Norris, celebrant.

Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
