Linda S. Corle July 13, 1944-Nov. 15, 2021

Linda S. Corle, 77, Altoona, passed away peacefully at her residence Monday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Trexler) Schrader. Linda married Jerry R. Corle, Sr. on Nov. 7, 1964 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 57 years; her three sons: Jerry R. Corle, Jr. of Altoona, Jamie (Lynette) Corle of Punxsutawney and Shawn (Stacey) Corle of Altoona; seven grandchildren: Jordan, Nate, Zach, Joey, Taylor, Breanna and Lauryn; and six great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Archer, Declan, Nixon, Atlas and Quinn; also survived by a special niece and caretaker, Tracy Settlemyer. She was a 1962 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and Prounto’s Beauty School. Linda was a hairstylist and Owner and Operator of Culligan Water Conditioning in Altoona and Punxsutawney alongside her husband. Linda was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to the beach. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her dog, Kime. Friends and family will be received Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, Pa. 16602, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 511 20th St., Altoona, Pa. 16602. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
