My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to Lou's family. I worked beside Lou (and sat at the same lunch table with him) for over 6 years at API. We loved to talk about sports (even though he was a Pittsburgh sports guy and I was a Philly fanatic) and his knowledge of Civil War history was impressive. I also loved to hear about the lectures he attended at the annual "World War 2" events in Gettysburg, as well as any new movies or shows he watched over the previous weekend. We both shared a love of the "Star Wars" franchise and "Stranger Things" series (he would loan me the DVDs to watch and I would keep them for a year). He would also (patiently, God bless him) listen while I excitedly told him about our spring birding trips to Canoe Creek, the Lower Trail, and along the C & O canal towpath. He was a great friend and I am thankful to have known him. Lou, I miss you terribly. Rest in peace. Roger Snyder

Your Uncle Bob and me, Aunt Dot, were saddened to learn that Jesus has called you home at the young age of 55. Our sympathy to John, David and Elizabeth, whom we love but Don't get to see since we live in New York. Peace and blessings to each of you. Uncle Bob and Aunt Dot.

Lou, you were the best fishing and hunting buddy that any person could ask for. I was just looking over some pics of us at The Susquehanna and it brought back a flood of GREAT memories. You were the one who introduced me to that awesome fishery. I was also remembering the time you showed up at my Grandmas house driving the old aircraft carrier ( tan wagon ) with a beautiful buck in the back that you had just shot back in the Beaver Dams I think it was the nicest one you had taken at that point. Days sitting on your back porch filleting crappies and sipping a Bud Light or cutting up a beer radish grown in your garden and of course sipping a Bud Light. All of the concerts we saw all the streams we fished and of course that cool spring hole at Newton Hamilton. Rest in peace Louie you made my life better by being in it. You were a big part of it. Thanks for saying yes when I asked you to be a part of our wedding. On behalf of Patty, Nate and Jess thanks for being in our lives and to John, Susan ,Dave, Susan, Liz , Rick, Jenn, Ryan, Tina, Shawn and Amanda you are in our prayers and remember the good times.
