Obituary For Marianne F. Donnelly

Marianne F. Donnelly, 80, Altoona, passed away Saturday morning after an extended illness.

Marianne was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Modico) Russo. On May 21, 1966, she married Gerald W. “Jerry” Donnelly.

Surviving are her loving husband; a daughter, Pam A. Donley (John) of Altoona; a son, Jeff Donnelly of Altoona; five grandchildren: Lauren, Sarah, Nicole, Dillon, and Meaghan; four great-grandchildren: Aiden, AJ, Romy, and Bryson; two sisters: Susan Bradfield (Brad) of Altoona and Annette Waldron (Ken) of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Joe Russo (Bonnie) of Altoona; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Russo of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Russo.

Marianne was a 1962 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Marianne enjoyed trips to the beach and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Fr. John Lynam, Celebrant. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602 in Marianne’s memory.
