Marie C. “Clem” McCulloch September 29, 1924 – October 23, 2020

Marie C. “Clem” McCulloch, 96, Altoona, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday at UPMC Altoona. Clem was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Francesca Spiridigliozzi. She married Joseph E. McCulloch at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and he preceded her in death in 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Sandra L. McCulloch of Altoona; a son, Joe McCulloch and wife Nancy of Howard; three grandchildren: Keith, Joey and Mary Elizabeth; a niece, Roxanne Hart and husband Don and their children: Danielle and Matt Hart; a nephew, Jeff Franks and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Grace Franks and Annie Beck. Clem attended Altoona High School where she excelled in Biology, she then worked at Sylvania. Clem was always smiling and loved to socialize with people especially while scootering around at Wal-Mart. She was a very loving and fashionable mother. She especially liked going to fall festivals like Ligonier Days. She enjoyed various gardening, flowers, collecting seeds for the next year, cooking, baking delicious cherry pies, and pampering her special kitty, Sammy. She also enjoyed painting and sketching scenery and animals. She loved special times with family on Holidays and birthday parties and especially adventurous outings with her beloved grandchildren. Clem was the happiest spending time with her cherished daughter, Sandie, best friends forever. She blew kisses and lots of love to everyone.

Friends will be received from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
