Marjorie M. Beigle Feb. 29, 1928-Feb. 21, 2022

Marjorie M. Beigle, 93, Chesterton, IN, formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2022 in Chesterton, Indiana. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Michael and Emma (Dietze) Leidel. Marjorie married Robert J. Beigle on May 25, 1953 in Winchester, VA., he preceded her in death in December of 1986. Marjorie is survived by her son, Steven Beigle (Roxann) of Chesterton, IN; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two nieces: Linda Nearhoof and Susan Brower of Altoona and several more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Beigle and her siblings. She worked for the Altoona Area School District with 25 years of service. Marjorie also enjoyed working with her son, at Brian’s Bakery. Marjorie was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, the Blair County School Retirees Association and she enjoyed volunteering at Sister Paula’s Soup Kitchen. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Stevens Memorial Chapel, 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602 with Rev. Rebecca Holland. Interment will be held at Blair Memorial Park. Local arrangements are provided by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602.
