Mary Ann Dammann Nov. 28, 1953-Oct. 6, 2022

Mary Ann Dammann, 68, Altoona, passed away Thursday at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Joan (Knepper) Dammann. Mary Ann is survived by her three brothers: Anthony of Altoona, Michael of Roaring Spring and Francis of Duncansville; her two sisters: Patricia Stough (Bill) of Prescott, AZ and Clare Mann of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a close friend, Katherine T. Abraham. Mary Ann was a 1973 graduate of Altoona Area High School and attended Shippensburg State College. She attended Grace Bible Church. Mary Ann enjoyed working summers at the beach in Cape May and loved volunteering at the Central PA Humane Society. Friends will be received from 10 am-noon on, Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602, where a funeral service will immediately follow at noon in the Stevens Memorial Chapel with Pastor William Pepper.
