Mary Lou Santone June 10, 1937-Jan. 31, 2022

Mary Lou Santone, 84, Altoona passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Jersey Shore, the daughter of the late, Fred and Hilda (Yarrison) Harbach. Mary Lou married Wayne D. Santone on Oct. 27, 1960 in Altoona, he preceded her in death on April 17, 2014. Mary Lou is survived by her two sons and a daughter: James Santone of Altoona, Michael Santone of New Orleans, LA and LouAnn Santone of Ebensburg; a brother, Terry Harbach of Wellington, OH. She was a 1955 graduate of Sugar Valley High School in Loganton, PA and a 1958 graduate of the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing. Mary Lou retired as a Registered Nurse from the Altoona Hospital after 36 years of service in 1995. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and loved taking car rides. Friends will be received from 10-11:45 am, Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602 until the noon funeral service in the Stevens Memorial Chapel with Rev.
