Mary Marjorie Adams

August 20, 1926-May 6, 2024

Mary Marjorie Adams, 97, left this earthly life, Monday morning at Midtown Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Ethel M. (Lambour) Adams.

Mary is survived by her sister, JoAnne Riley and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and a great-grandnephew.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Paul L., Robert E. and Donald J. Adams and sisters: Elizabeth C. Wehrle and Shirley E. Simmers.

Mary was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired from Conrail in 1988 as Head Clerk in the office of the General Mechanical Support Shops.

Sewing and reading were her favorite pastimes.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
