Milton “Foggy” Grayson

Milton “Foggy” Grayson, 76, Pittsburgh, formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday at Allegheny General Hospital of Pittsburgh.

He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Joseph and Deveda Johnson.

Foggy is survived by his daughter, Talisa Horsley of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren: Travis Horsley, Deveda Horsley and Tatyana Rutherford; three great-grandchildren: Kylie, Kyro and Tramar Horsley; brother, Siles Jones of Altoona and sister, JoElla Howard (Denny) of Gettysburg; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Deveda Thomas; niece Nadine Thomas-Sledge and nephew: Larry “Nook” Thomas and great-nephew, Darnell Thomas.

Foggy had attended Altoona High School.

He had recognized Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior; and was a generous donor to many charities. Foggy was an avid sports enthusiast, was active in helping guide and mentor family members and friends. He was well-known for bestowing nicknames to others and truly took pride in his appearance, he loved being a sharp dresser. Most importantly, he loved his family and his Lord.

Friends will be received from 10 am-noon on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16602 where a funeral service will immediately follow in the Stevens Memorial Chapel at noon with Rev. Rodney Hatfield and Minister Victor Thomas.
