Obituary For Pamela Loren (Lees) Bowers

Pamela Loren (Lees) Bowers Nov. 27, 1987 – Oct. 5, 2020

Pamela L. Bowers, 32, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona. Pamela was born in Altoona, daughter of Lawrence and Mary (McMaster) Lees who survive. On July 11, 2009, she married William W. Bowers. Surviving are her husband; parents; a brother, Jesse Lees of Altoona; sisters: Amber Lees, Elizabeth (Neil) Graham, Kimberly Lees (Robbie), Stephanie Lees, Emily (John) Spirdigliozzi and Morgan (Tristin) Snyder all of Altoona; grandmothers: Margaret Lees and Catherine Jury; 11 nieces and nephews and 1 great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Lawrence Lees Sr, Thomas McMaster and step-grandfather Benjamin Newman. Pamela a 2006 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She previously was employed as a Shift Manager for Sheetz. She loved reading and solving puzzle books and enjoyed the ‘Walking Dead.’ She was affectionately called “Beana” by her family and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2020 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc. 1421 Eighth Avenue, Altoona, Pa. 16602. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or online: stjude.org/give.     My love and prayers are with every one of my Lees family and all of the friends and loved ones of Pam. All of my memories of Pam are of her smiling and laughing, of her being silly and loving her sisters and brother. Love you all.

    I've known Pam and her family all my life we use to all slip and slide to mop the floors she always hugged me and we always talked and smiled im going to miss her. To her sisters and brother i am here always

    Pam was my best friend in the whole world she lived wit me and her uncle Bill she would knock on our bedroom door in the morning if we wasn't up before her and Willie and yell come on b---- coffee brewing get ur ass moving time to get moving for the day I am so lost wit out her and Bill is also she would always say good morning uncle Bill our house just feels empty how I miss her so much I loved Pam wit all my heart

    Me and pam was best friends, jr high through high school and years after that, we have so many memories together, spending the night at each other's houses and staying up late laughing and talking.. we went to a lot of events together school and outside of school.. I will miss her dearly!
