Pasquale “Pat” Cellini June 9, 1927-Dec. 25, 2023

Pasquale “Pat” Cellini, a native of Altoona died December 25th, at 11 p.m. in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Cellini was born June 9, 1927, the son of Salvatore and Teresa Cellini.

He retired after 35 years of service from Penn State University, College of Engineering, as an Associate Professor at Altoona.

Professor Cellini was a Registered Professional Engineer and a WW II veteran.

Surviving are his wife Mary Jo (Weigand) Cellini and three children, Michael and wife Robin of Alexandria, Va., Richard and wife Annabel of Cambridge, Mass., Patti McCahan and husband Daniel of Charlotte, NC. Seven grandchildren: Ryleigh, Hayley, and Samuel of Alexandria; Isabel and Nicholas of Cambridge, and Alexis and Nicholas of Charlotte.

Also surviving are brother Richard of Altoona and sister Sally Cellini of Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by brothers Harry and Albert and sisters Elvira and Irene Pasquino.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altoona by Fr. Lubomir Strecok. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
